WELCOME TO THE WEST LONDON SUMMER PROGRAMME

WHAT'S ON?

Join us for a summer of possibilities at Ark Burlington Danes Academy (our main venue - where all programmes depart from), and Charterhouse (our residential venue) and Leighton House Museum (non-residential).  

​

We have a range of one-off and multi-day fully funded programmes and events open to students aged 7 to 17 who attend West London Schools.  We also have a number of family events open to parents and siblings.  Please make sure to book tickets where applicable.

Global Social Leaders (GSL) Catalyst is a unique 3-day non-residential leadership course, designed to develop your leadership skills and your understanding of global issues enabling you to plan a project and become a leader.

CREATE YOUR FUTURE

Create Your Future is a 3-day 2-night residential programme at Charterhouse School designed to develop your confidence, creativity and help you to aim high and reach your full potential. You will also get to live in one of the country's leading boarding schools and have exclusive access to their sports facilities.

VOICES FESTIVAL

A 1-day (Thursday 17th August) special event bringing together a range of authors, poets and drama workshops.

CODERDOJO

A 1-day event (taking place on 3rd and 4th August), consisting of a number of coding and maker activities. The tracks will include coding, apps development and maker activity (Raspberry Pi, BBC micro:bit, Ohbot and Crumbles), and  AR / VR Workshops.

Open to primary and secondary students and their families. 

LEIGHTON HOUSE

Leighton House Museum is offering a 5-day non-residential course for primary school students.  You will be outside sketching, bug hunting and gardening and inside this beautiful house you will learn how to design and make tiles, explore creative writing, and think about interior design.

WEEKLY STORY TELLING

Each week (Tuesdays at 2pm) we will have a drop-in storytelling session for young people and families.  Please book your tickets.

We are excited to share we will also have a special one-off story telling with David Walliams, his books are some of the funniest written for children in recent years.

FAMILY THURSDAY EVENING EVENTS

This Summer we will hold three Thursday evenings open to summer programme participants and their families (siblings and parents welcome).

There will be a BBQ and either a film or entertainment.
